Promprylad
On August 28–31 in Ivano-Frankivsk the third festival-workshop for young authors "Propysy" will take place. Over four days, events are planned for everyone interested in contemporary Ukrainian culture, as well as a closed professional programme for young authors.
The festival will open on August 28 on the territory of Promprylad in Ivano-Frankivsk, with the participation of Volodymyr Yermolenko, Ostap Slyvynskyi and the emerging authors who will take part in the professional programme of "Propysy".
💬 "The 'Propysy' Festival is an environment. It is diverse, yet always open, empathetic, supportive. Over four days, residents of Ivano-Frankivsk and visitors to the city will be able to listen to panel conversations with Ukrainian writers moderated by emerging authors, attend poetry readings and hear fresh texts from the participants. 'Propysy' is not a 'warm bath' for debut authors. It is more of a gentle start, after which one can move forward with confidence," shared Ostap Slyvynskyi, curator of the "Propysy" project, poet and translator.
During the festival, panel conversations will take place with Iryna Tsilyk and Yurii Andrukhovych. They will be moderated by authors — participants of the professional programme taking place in Ivano-Frankivsk on August 28–31.
The emerging authors, among them Bondar Dariia, Holovko Sofiia, Kozlovets Yelyzaveta, Kulish Yuliia, Olenka Sakhar Zemli (Olena Sokolovska), Poberezhnyy Vitaliy, Kharabuha Anastasiia, Khrystenko Maksym, Tsisar Asia, Shyiko Marta, were selected through a competition. During the festival they will present their poetry and prose to the general public.
Everyone who wishes can also attend a concert by the band "La Blur".
