Book Presentation by Serhiy Volyanyuk «Galician Lions in Ternopil Region»

Testimonial materials from 20 former soldiers of the 3rd Battalion of the 4th Galician Volunteer Regiment of the SS, drawn from archival criminal case files and memoir interviews, formed the basis for research into the history of the formation in the territory of Zalizsi – Zbarazh – Nove Selo – Ternopil.

Orders, letters, reports from the OUN network, combat journals of UPA units and the Polish underground were examined. Clashes and battles with the Red Army, anti-partisan operations, relations with the Ukrainian armed underground — everything that remained little-known about this volunteer formation.

We invite you to the book presentation at Khartiya-Hub in Ivano-Frankivsk together with historian and serviceman of the 13th NGU Brigade «Khartiya» — Serhii Volianiuk.
At the presentation, Serhii will introduce the stories and materials of the soldiers, including those from the Frankivsk region.
